• TYPE 305 EYELET QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL STRIP
Type 305 is used for applications requiring a low rate of work hardening and typically undergoes severe cold forming during fabrication. The higher nickel content slows the work hardening and makes it ideal for eyelet and other deep draw applications. Gibbs can supply Type 305 Eyelet Quality in gauges from .005" -.025" in the deep draw annealed condition.

 • TYPE 301 STAINLESS STEEL STRIP
Type 301 stainless strip, ASTMA-666, is slightly lower in chromium and nickel content than Type 302. The lower nickel content causes Type 301 to work harden more rapidly and retain greater ductility than the same temper of Type 302. Gibbs stocks 301 Stainless Strip in gauges from .0022" to .050" precision slit to widths from .022 to 12". Type 301 is available in a variety of tempers.

 • TYPE 302 STAINLESS STEEL STRIP
Type 302, ASTMA-666, a general purpose stainless alloy, is 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It possesses excellent resistance to heat and corrosion. Type 302 cannot be hardened by heat treatment and is slightly magnetic after cold working. It welds easily. Gibbs stocks Type 302 Stainless in gauges from .003 to .030 precision slit to widths from .022" to 12"

 • TYPE 301 HIGH YIELD STAINLESS STEEL STRIP
Type 301 High Yield, ASTMA-666, issued for special applications requiring extra high strength and hardness. This extra high strength material has a minimum tensile strength of 270,000 PSI. Gibbs stocks 301 High Yield Strip in gauges from .002 to .032 precision slit to widths from .022". Type 301 High Yield is sold to AMS5519 - Chemical properties only.

 • TYPE 17 CHROME - 7 NICKEL STAINLESS STEEL STRIP
Type 17-7 PH, "Condition C" has the corrosion resistance of Type 302 plus superior strength and heat resistance. After forming, it can be heat treated at 900 F for one hour to achieve maximum "CH" tensiles. Gibbs stocks 17 chrome-7 nickel stainless steel in the "C" cold rolled condition in gauges from .008" to .025".

 • TYPE 304 STAINLESS STEEL STRIP
Type 304, ASTMA-666, is similar to Type 302, but has a maximum carbon content of .08%. This material has an excellent combination of corrosion resistance and fabricability. Gibbs stocks Type 304 annealed stainless in gauges from .005" to .062".

 • TYPE 316 STAINLESS STEEL STRIP
Type 316, ASTMA-666 stainless steel strip are molydbenum bearing stainless steels possessing a greatly increased resistance to chemical attack as compared to that of the basic chromium-nickel analysis. In addition, Type 316 also offers higher creep, stress-to-rupture, and tensile strengths at elevated temperatures than any other stainless steel. Gibbs stocks this material in gauges from .010" - .025" in the annealed and ¼ hard conditions.
