Effective on 8/2/2016, the Department of Defense (DoD) amended DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) to include Japan and Slovenia as Qualifying Countries in the procurement of Specialty Metals under clause 252.225-7002. The updated list of qualifying countries is below.

The importance of this amendment is that it now allows Gibbs Interwire® to sell our Suzuki Chrome Silicon and Chrome Vanadium valve quality wire as DFARS compliant.
