Traverse / Oscillate Wound Strip from Gibbs Interwire
Gibbs Interwire can provide a traverse wound product with mechanical strip registration on reel-less cores or reels up to 1,100 pounds or, with electronic strip registration on spools from 5 pounds to 100 pounds. As a leader in “computerized winding” of narrow width strip, we can traverse wind material in thicknesses of .0019″ to .040″ and widths from .040″ to .750″, based on the combination of width and thickness. By optimizing incoming PIW (Pounds per inch of width), we offer the maximum continuous length for each strand. In addition, we can weld strips of material and mark them to provide large continuous runs for use in your plant.
