316Ti™ Stainless Steel Strip and Slit Coil
316Ti™ is a titanium stabilized Type 316 stainless. It is produced to ASTM A240 and DIN/EN No. 1.4571. Titanium is added to minimize corrosion over extended exposure to elevated temperatures ranging from 900 to 1500 degrees °F (425 to 815 °C). The alloy resists corrosion at higher temperatures because the addition of titanium stabilizes the structure against chromium precipitation.
This alloy was developed to improve the performance of 316 and 316L at elevated temperatures. It is commonly used is flexible ducts and chimney liners.
Gibbs Interwire 316Ti™ inventory ranges from 0.005″ up to 0.025″
316Ti™ is an ATI (Allegheny Technologies) trademarked alloy.
