  • High-Carbon-Steel-Strip

    The most frequently used grade of the Carbon Steels, 1008 low carbon strip has a carbon content of .08-.10%. The material is not corrosion resistant but is ideal for low strength parts that require forming, welding or machinability. Gibbs supplies material in the 4 numbers hard condition (45000-55,000 PSI) in metric sizes from .35mm -1.25mm.

  • High-Carbon-Steel-Strip

    Gibbs stocks 1050 high carbon spring steel in the annealed conditon. An economical grade of spring steel often used where the part is hardened and tempered after forming. 1050 meets ASTM A 684 and is stocked in gauges ranging from 0.010" to 0.062".

  • High-Carbon-Steel-Strip

    Supplied to ASTM-A-684, 1060 High Carbon Strip has a Carbon content .55-.65%. Gibbs carries the product in the Annealed condition in metric thicknesses ranging from .40mm-1.0mm.

  • High-Carbon-Steel-Strip

    This steel is most often used for general spring applications. Gibbs stocks 1074 high carbon spring steel, ASTM A 684, in both the spherodized annealed condition in gauge ranges from 0.008" to 0.062" and scaleless tempered condition in thicknesses from 0.008" to 0.025"

  • High-Carbon-Steel-Strip

    This steel is most often used for general spring applications. Gibbs stocks 1074 high carbon spring steel, ASTM A 684, in both the spherodized annealed condition in gauge ranges from 0.008" to 0.062" and scaleless tempered condition in thicknesses from 0.008" to 0.025".

  • Type 1074/1075 Annealed Carbon Steel Strip

    Gibbs stocks 1095 high carbon spring steel, ASTM A 684 , in both the spheroidized annealed condition in gauges from 0.012" - 0.020" and polished and blue tempered condition in gauges from 0.006" to 0.025".
