Marine Components

Stainless steel wire, high carbon , flat wire and oil tempered wire are used to make control cables. Most wire ropes operate in demanding conditions and must resist crushing, bending fatigue and abrasion. High carbon Galvanized wire and stainless wire is used to make strand and cable for various applications. Both are available with a nylon coating.

Type 302/304 and type 316 are the most frequently used grades of stainless steel wire used to make stainless steel cable.

High carbon wire C1045-C1075 or as it is known in the industry as Galvanized  improved plow steel wire or Extra improved plow wire is used to make GAC or wire rope.
