Specializing in a variety of special edge conditioning edge types, Gibbs is proud to offer “built to print” custom edge service. Working with your unique CAD file or blueprint, we’ll custom manufacture a special edge type to meet your precise requirements-and we’ll even custom manufacture the die we need to make it! We are happy to work with a wide range of materials, including stainless steels, nickel alloys, and carbon steels. We can guarantee width tolerances of +/-.003″, and with operations approval, down to +/- .001″. In addition to our fully custom edges, we also produce #1, 3, and 5 square and pinch rolled edges. And with a standard lead time of 3 weeks, we offer rush services upon request so you’ll never have to go without. Toll Processing, Slitting & Edging

With as little as .080″ total scrap on thickness’ from .0015″ to .062″, Gibbs can take your obsolete coils of stock and re-slit to widths that can be used for production vs. scrap.

Given the current emphasis on inventory control, it only makes sense to convert your old inventory into usable stock.
